In this sermon, we look at the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into the city of Jerusalem on what is now called Palm Sunday. In this sermon, we explore who Jesus is and who we are because of who he is.

Questions to discuss:

1. Why was it not enough for the people to say that Jesus was a prophet in Matthew 21:11? Why is Jesus so much more than a prophet?

2. What does it mean that Jesus is both the Messenger and the Message from God? (Hint: Jesus didn’t just instruct us to follow his teachings, he also said, “Follow me.”

3. If Jesus is our Prophet, Priest and King, then how should we respond to each of these titles for Jesus?
