Our Pastoral Intern Lance preached about the Parable of the Tenants from Matthew 21:33-46 in our sermon series Reframing Your View.
In this parable Jesus is illustrating the incredible patience of God.
It is hard for us to comprehend that God would send His Some, His one and only Son into the world after seeing how His people had treated the prophets, and knowing how they would treat His Son.
It is unreal to think that Jesus gave His live on the cross so that you might have live, but He really did, and the world has never been that same.
This text also includes a severe warning for all who reject Jesus. As Jesus warned in Matthew 21:44, all who reject Him will be judged as guilty.
The Gospel has been given all of us, to all who put their trust in the Lord. The Gospel is the good news that God, through Jesus, freely gives eternal life to all who will receive it.
Don't reject Jesus, but claim the promise of life through Jesus Christ. Receive the free gift of life through Jesus' finished work on the Cross!
