Isaiah 52:14 says, Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage (appearance) was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men;

If we take this scripture literally for what it says, we can conclude that Jesus’ physical body was marred nearly beyond recognition.”

I didn’t want us to miss this because our Lord and savior took this upon Himself for you and for me. Knowing this and crucifixion was coming it is no surprise that Jesus actually sweat drops of blood while praying in the garden. Let me say this morning that today this moment if you have any doubts of how much God loves you, this should clear that up. For Him to choose to be obedient and go through this all so we can be reconciled back to the Father, shows that no matter who you are or what you have done, He loves you this much.
