Today Bobby Hamilton talks about the time that John the Baptist was in prison. When John was beheaded, Jesus just wanted to get away and grieve the loss of his friend, but the crowds pressed in, and He ended up having compassion for them, healing them, and providing for their needs. When confronted with the choice of attending to his own need or helping others, Jesus went out of His way to take care of those around them.

Matthew 14:1-21

Do you need to know that Jesus loves you with a perfect love that doesn't take score? Do need to remember that when you call on Jesus' name, He will be there for you? Is there someone God wants you to reach out to, even in the midst of your own needs?

Remember that Jesus is attentive to your need, and He does not get distracted by others. And when we set our own needs aside and through the leading of the Holy Spirit show love those around us, He sees that and takes care of our needs as well.
