Today Ellen Hutchinson brings light to Matthew 15. It is common to misinterpret this passage to believe that Jesus is calling the woman a derogatory term, but this isn't what happened. The woman agrees with Jesus that she has no legal claim to the inheritance of Israel, but she knows that there is enough for everyone at Jesus' table! Jesus wasn't challenging race or gender issues but heart issues.
