Today Mark Pagley looks at Matthew 22:1-14, the parable of the wedding banquet, which Jesus shared with us to understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. Since the guests the king invited didn't show up, the king then invited many from the highways and other places, and many showed up. There was one who showed up at the wedding feast who wasn't wearing the appropriate clothing and was tossed out. But who are the ones who make it into the feast in this parable? Mark talks about that. And who was the one who was thrown out? Mark talks about that too.

Matthew 22:1-14

Are you trying to just be good enough to get to heaven? Did you know that you can never be good enough in your own actions or strength to enter God's Kingdom?

We can't be righteous by our own good works. Trusting in Jesus, who lived a righteous life and died for YOUR sins, is Who you can be confident in to get you into the King's wedding feast. The righteousness of God is not earned but received.
