In Jesus' day, the Jewish people were expecting a Jewish political kingdom in Israel. But Jesus didn't seek out the politically elite but those rejected by society, even the outcasts, like those with leprosy. Today, we observe Jesus intentionally healing a man with leprosy through touch, demonstrating acceptance and compassion for him.

Matthew 8:1-13; Mark 1:40-45

Who is Jesus to you?

Remember that those who are accepted into the Kingdom of God are those who have fully put their faith in Jesus, like the healed leper and the Roman Centurion, regardless of their lineage, upbringing, or status in society.
