Looking Backwards and Moving Forward
Exodus 14:8-10

A new year has begun. What will it bring? We have hopes and dreams for a better year. We pray that last year's problems won't follow us into this year. In today's scripture, we read that the children of Israel were stuck between what was and what could be. The Lord said to be still and know that He is God. In life many times we run into the past on the way to the future. Move on from the perils of last year and move forward. God will not allow your past to catch up with your progress. God has power over the past and holds the key to the future.
