This Sunday Service Notice Church Services videos will be up at 6:00 pm Saturday 10/17/2020. What does Nehemiah do in these verses 1) Survey the damages. To see what is required to complete Gods project. Recognize that not all city officials wanted Gods project to proceed even though Nehemiah had the blessing and approval of the king. The city officials were displeased that someone had come to help the people of Israel. Nehemiah had a few GOOD men that believed in God and the project. (like minded) Nehemiah went out at night with no fanfare and surveyed the damage and even though his donkey could not get thru the rubble one way he went another to accomplish Gods Plan! Don't Give up GO Around objections and road blocks.
Verse 16 says it all the city officials did not know or what Nehemiah was doing there because Nehemiah did not tell the city officials until after he surveyed what was required.
(not all city officials want to help Nehemiah do Gods work for his plan)
