We begin by discussing the motivation and message of the false prophets that Jesus predicted will arise. Eric refers us to Revelation 17:12 and the 10 kings who will give their authority to the Beast. The teachings and demonic power that energize the false prophets of the tribulation are already at work now as John said in 1John 4:1. We talk about signs and wonders and how to distinguish the true from the false. The unbelieving world lusts for tangible interaction with the world of the spirits. During the tribulation God will judge them by giving them what they want and the results will be horrific. We contrast the deceptive signs and wonders with a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ. What Christ did for us He did "once for all." Humans need to appeal to God through Christ and not willfully interact with the spirits. We reference verses in Jude to demonstrate what God said about this. We discuss Cain, Balaam, and Korah as described in Jude as typical of the false spirituality which God forbids. People rebel and reject what God has said about listening to Him and coming to Him on His terms. We need Christ, not conversing with spirits.
