He possessed his inheritance. It says "By faith he made his home in the promised land." He had an inheritance. His was a literal one. Ours is a spiritual one. Peace is my inheritance. Blessing is my inheritance. Every morning I say to God "May your love, your joy, your peace, your patience, your kindness, your goodness, your faithfulness, your gentleness be my, your self-control, be my portion my inheritance and my practice."
