Psalm 87:3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
The city of God - Jerusalem, Zion - is scriptural reference to the people of God. What are the glorious things spoken of his city/people?
There are many: City of truth, City of peace, the dwelling place of God, the house of God, the holy city, the city set on a hill (high place) etc.
But consider this, it's not possible to have any of those glorious things spoken of us (his people), except he first made it possible for us to bear his name i.e. become his bride. (Rev 21:2)
The blood of Jesus, washes our garments white as snow and thus prepares us as his people, his city, his Bride that bears his name. What could be more glorious?
