An Explaination to 'Psalms 41:6' -

History is repeated but its authenticity isn't. The story's a metaphor for Sapan, being a common fool, and Vishvam, being a curious intellect. His curiosity leads to Sapan's fall into sleep paralysis and subsequent lucid dreaming of the former events, leading to a false belief in paranormal and ghostly. Being a mere joke to Vishvam and his friend, the word's spread and results in the disgrace of the lake as a 'Haunted Place'
