Rest for the Troubled!
2 Thessalonians 1:1-8

Key Verse: “Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thes 1:6-8

Reflection:
Paul’s deep desire was that the church would understand that the journey that they are on is one of excitement and growth, but also it will be full of trouble and heartache. There will be persecution and tribulation, but not to worry all things will be revealed at the coming of the Lord. The vengeance of the Lord will come upon those who do not know God and those who did not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
