Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Central to the whole Christian faith is the promise of Christ’s return
“with the clouds.” Jesus will come again, a literal return in an event that
the whole world will witness—an event that once and for all ends the
suffering, chaos, and ruin of this world and ushers in all the promises
of eternity
