Matthew 24:37-38
(37) When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day.

(38) In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat.

Enoch 3:1-3
(1) All who are in the heavens know what is transacted there.

(2) They know that the heavenly luminaries change not their paths; that each rises and sets regularly, every one at its proper period, without transgressing the commands which they have received. They behold the earth, and understand what is there transacted, from the beginning to the end of it.

(3) They see that every work of God is invariable in the period of its appearance. They behold summer and winter: perceiving that the whole earth is full of water; and that the cloud, the dew, and the rain refresh it.

Revelation 9:3-6
(3) Then locusts came from the smoke and descended on the earth, and they were given power to sting like scorpions.

(4) They were told not to harm the grass or plants or trees, but only the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

(5) They were told not to kill them but to torture them for five months with pain like the pain of a scorpion sting.

(6) In those days people will seek death but will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them!
