Tony was born and raised in Houston, TX. He and his wife, Terrie, have 3 children (Jeremy, Heather, Jordan) and 14 grandchildren. Tony has been in ministry for over 40 years and currently serving as the Sr. Pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Bowie, TX, where he has been since 2008. He previously served as the Sr. Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton, TX and Calvary Baptist Church of Cuero, TX. He is a firm believer in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture, and as such, believes in expository preaching, and preaches verse-by-verse exposition through the Bible. He served on the Board of Trustees for Criswell College in Dallas, TX for six years, four of those as Chairman. He served as moderator for the Harvest Baptist Association. He has been a Member of the Evangelical Theological Society since 1987, and serves as the Executive Director of Jeremiah 20:9 Ministries. Tony is a faithful supporter of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention.
