Today, I’m calling the church – our diocese – your church - back to Jesus! Put an end to silly divisions around leaders… but gather instead around ONE LEADER – the Lord Jesus Christ. Put an end to their being any other message you’re wanting to communicate, except for that crazy foolish message of Jesus going to the cross to reconcile us to himself – for we have only ONE MESSAGE – the Lord Jesus Christ. Put an end to any focus on your own achievements or qualifications or anything other than the Lord Jesus Christ… - for we have only ONE BOAST – the Lord Jesus Christ. And ensure that your church’s mission – your clergy's focus – is to proclaim Jesus Christ and him crucified – for we have only ONE MISSION – the Lord Jesus Christ.
