As we've made our journey through the book of Judges we have witnessed time and again as the Lord has faithfully raised up deliverers for His people. This time, however, we see something new: God doesn't' simply raise up a deliverer—He grows one from the womb of a barren woman! This judge will be different! But as we study, we'll see how once again the judge is simply a precursor to the One born of another woman—this time a virgin—and to the salvation found in Christ.
