In this sermon we will examine Matthew 21:33-46. I've titled the sermon, The Courage of Christ. The parable of the Landowner, which Jesus told the chief elders and priests of Israel on Passion Week, alerts us to the spiritual damages of unbelief and reveals the church’s special position.

[42] Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
[43] Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. (Matthew 21:42–43 ESV)
