Sharing Love, Acts 4:32-37; Acts 5:1-11

The Christian Church was Born on the Day of Pentecost.

Peter had stood up and boldly Preached that Jesus, the Messiah, who they had Crucified has been Resurrected by his Our father GOD.

And this same Jesus, the promised Messiah is fulfilling the promised prophecy of Joel to the Children of Israel on this very day, in this very city, called Jerusalem.

Jesus is baptizing believers with the Holy Spirit of his Father in Heaven!

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(Acts 2:38)

“The promise belongs to you and your children AND to all who are far off… TO ALL whom the Lord OUR GOD will call TO Himself.” (Acts 2:39)

Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day. (Acts 2:41)

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.”

With one accord, (the Apostles of Christ) continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to “BREAK BREAD” from house to house, “SHARING” (in) their meals.

With gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.

And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

“With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

(“The Sadducees”) seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in custody until the next day. (Acts 4:3)

The next day the rulers, elders, and scribes assembled in Jerusalem, with Annas the high priest, and convened a Sanhedrin court.

They called them in and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. Peter refused.
After further threats they let them go.

When the believers heard this, they lifted up their voices to God with ONE ACCORD.  (Acts 4:24a)

After they (the Believers), had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and THEY WERE ALL FILLED with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. (Acts 4:31)

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.
(1 Corinthian 6:19)

The MULTITUDE of BELIEVERS was ONE IN HEART, and SOUL.

No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned.
