King Solomon's heart was immature, and under-developed when he inherited his father's throne. He had to fill King David's shoes and he realized that this was impossible. He was so young! What did he know about being a King? Nothing! Not wanting to be embarrassed he did the next best thing! What did he do? King Solomon got religion, in fact he got several different religions! But the GOD of Israel, of his Father David, is merciful and understanding. GOD knew King Solomon was trying in his youthful way to find him so that he could establish a strong relationship with him, like his Father King David established over the years. You and I in our youth were a lot like King Solomon, legally grown, and totally lost! Driven by every wind and doctrine, and peer pressure. Fascinated by things that glitter, and shine. But what King Solomon and you and I could not do... GOD can do for us! Like King Solomon we need to ask GOD for Wisdom, and Guidance, then Trust in Our Father's Wisdom believing that All Things Work together for our GOD! YES! GOD WILL WORK IT OUT FOR HIS BELOVED CHILDREN, IF WE LET HIM!
