JOHN CHAPTER 19 (continued):
Verse 7… The Jews go to the law to excuse their wickedness!
Leviticus 24:15-16… Proverbs 28:13-14…  Matthew 26:59-66…
          Verses 8-9… Pilate becomes afraid and questions Jesus, asking Him where he came from.  Jesus does not answer him.
Proverbs 23:9… Proverbs 26:4… Proverbs 29:9…
          Verse 10… After Jesus would not answer Pilate’s question, Pilate told him he had the power to crucify him or release him.
Psalm 62:11-12… Romans 13:1-3…
          Verse 11… Jesus answers Pilate telling him that he could have  no power at all except it were given him from above!
John 7:28-30… Acts 2:22-23…
          Verses 12-13… From that time on, Pilate attempted to let Jesus go.  However, the Jews put guilt upon Pilate by saying if he let Jesus go, then he would be no friend of Caesar.

          Verse 14… Pilate presents Jesus to the crowd.

          Verse 15… The Jews cry out “Crucify Him”, saying ‘We have no king but Caesar’!
