“TAKE ANOTHER LOOK” W1S128 (07-10-19) Revelation 16:12-16
----------------------------------------
Revelation 16:12 says, “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.”
● As the sixth messenger from the “unseen realm” known as that “great cloud of witnesses” pours out their bowl, ministry was released from the spirit-realm into the unrenewed souls of mankind. All spirit-beings are either connected to the “unseen realm” or live in the “unseen-realm” and yet are supernaturally connected to one another.
● Hebrews 1:14 (TPT) “What role then, do the angels have? The angels are spirit-messengers sent by God to serve those who are going to be saved.” The Aramaic can be translated to read, “The angels are spirit-winds-of-ministry sent to minister to those destined to receive salvation,” which also could say, “destined to become aware of God’s fullness in them. The angels a.k.a., messengers, are glad to minister to us, or on our behalf, or to us, for they see us “in-Christ” and not independent from Christ.
● In other words, there is Holy Spirit, and God is Spirit, and therefore all spirits exist and coexist as one with each other and as within each other. When it comes to Spirit upon Spirit, we all occupy the same space and yet have an individual existence. You are a unique individual created just like your heavenly Father, and yet your oneness with Him is still being made known to your individual awareness or mind.
● Now, the amazing thing in Revelation 16:12 is that the messengers poured out their bowl ON the great river Euphrates. The river Euphrates is mentioned in about 8 places in scripture and two of them in the book of Revelation. Once in Revelation 9:14 and here in Revelation 16:12. From Genesis 2:10-14 we learn that even though the river Euphrates was known as “the site of the inception of human sin,” this was also called, “original sin.” And just to remind you that the sin of Adam and Eve was not your sin.
● Remember that the word “sin” has been translated as “mistaken identity” which in reality, that was the “original sin” committed by them. When Eve had the “first thought” of thinking she was not like God, her mind began to imagine what could be done to make her become something that she already was. This has since been the problem within the minds of individual mankind as well as corporate mankind.
● When God made you like Himself, nothing can be improved on except within the “mistaken identity” within your own thoughts. The word “Euphrates” means “fruitlessness” which is the state of any identity or thought that is separate from what God thinks. You were created by God to be “as gods” or like Himself, but you were also created to be “fruitful and multiply” the mind of the Father to the whole world.
● Revelation 16:12 (TPT) says, “The sixth angel poured his bowl on “the good and abounding river,” and it completely dried up in order to prepare the way for the kings of the east.” The phrase, “the kings of the east” can also be translated, “the kings from the rising of the sun.” As God’s elect or remnant company, it is important that we gain a clear understanding of what is meant by this drying up of the great river Euphrates.
● Once God’s creation is set free in their thinking, they will come into awareness in their thoughts of His glorious light as prophecy is fulfilled declaring that His knowledge will once again be restored to you, the earth of His dwelling. Isaiah 11:9 (NKJV) says, “For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.” What damage the carnal programs of the church systems and false teachings of condemnation, and of eternal judgment that come to an end because of what Christ came to unveil to us.
● These systems of carnality must come to an end in our minds so that yearning creation can finally see sons of God manifest their sonship declaring As He is, so are we. In the end, we see that these seven messengers, pour out the “seven last plagues” of God’s passion within a people with a wrong mindset. And this message was shown to John in this vision of how God delivers His creation, a people who formerly lived in Babylon, with the mindset of mistaken identity.
