“TAKE ANOTHER LOOK” W1S143 (11-06-19) Revelation 18:1-2

Revelation 18:1-2 (NKJV) says, “1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!”
● Every spirit-being created by God, whether visible or invisible to the human eye lives in the realm of Spirit, even when they are like you and me, who have also been manifested or made visible here in this realm of the senses.
● John writes this in his gospel. John 1:14 (NKJV) says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” John 1:14 (TPT) says, “And so the Living Expression became a man {Or, became visible} and lived among us!”
● Jesus was both spirit and man, just as you are both spirit and man. Jesus was the exact representation of God just as you are. And Colossians 1:15-17 tells us that Jesus, the image of the invisible God was the firstborn over all creation or the first of all types or all things were created out of Him.
● So, there is nothing that is not out of Him, and there is nothing that existed before Him. You were created from Him, and you were created like Him or as Him; therefore, “As He is, so are you.” And John sees or understands the message that is of Him. Therefore, John saw, “another angel {a.k.a., heavenly messenger} coming down from {or manifesting out of} heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.”
● John understands that the revelation of that the man, Jesus had while visible in this earthly realm. And if Jesus had this understanding, then you can also have this same understanding in your mind. However, it is important to note that the key to unity among mankind is found in the knowledge of His glory and in experiencing the glory of God, which has already been imparted to us as spirit-beings, but also in us here in this visible realm as well. And as His creation, who are one with our Creator, God shares the glory that is of Him with all of His creation.
● Revelation 18:2 (AMPC) says, “And he shouted with a mighty voice, She is fallen! Mighty Babylon is fallen! She has become a resort and dwelling place for demons, a dungeon haunted by every loathsome spirit, an abode for every filthy and detestable bird.” The interpretation of this verse would begin with the symbolism of the Lord speaking with a loud voice. However, since this entire study of the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ has been about what God has done in Christ manifesting in man’s awareness, we can see that the voice of God is speaking loudly within humanity.
● And ever since spirit-beings have been made visible in this earthly realm, and forgetting who they were; God has called out to His creation from within their collective and individual minds, calling them back to Him in their memory. The fact is that God created you with His mind so that you would think as He thinks. God has been manifesting Himself ever since man fell into the mindset of separation from Him.
● Therefore, with the fall, the law, the condition of man’s mind or thoughts, a new order has become known. Not a new order as in God has changed His mind, but a new order in that God used Jesus becoming visible and living among mankind. And even though many did not understand the purpose of the “Eternal Christ” living as flesh and blood, among flesh and blood, still His appearing back then, opened the door of man’s thinking so that we would begin to understand His purpose today. Becoming aware of God’s mind is the new order that is manifesting from out of you today, which is the unveiling of His ministry in the earth that God is using to reach all of the nations of man’s soul.
● You are a race of sons of God who know that they have been restored to their right mind, which is His mind. And it seems that many come to this realization through some personal or some supernatural encounter with the Lord, but each one in his or her own time. Little by little, people are coming into this understanding of sonship.
● The message of truth is in you and you have heard the mighty loud voice of the Lord within your own soul, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!” And you no longer are imprisoned in your thinking, and every foul thing has been dismissed in the presence of the truth of the Father’s mind in you.
