“TAKE ANOTHER LOOK” W1S151 (02-19-20) Revelation 18:22-24
--------------------------------------
Revelation 18:22-24 (TPT) says, “22 The music of harps, minstrels, flutes, and trumpets will never grace your city again. No artisan of any trade will ever be found in you again, and the noise of factories {Or, the noise of a mill} falls silent. 23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again, Nor will the joyous laughter of a wedding {Or, the voice of the bridegroom and bride} be heard in you. Your merchants were once the tycoons of the world, But you deceived all the nations by your sorcery {Or, the blinding message of that system}. 24 For the bloodstains of the holy believers and the prophets and all who were slaughtered were all over you!”
● This statement clarifies that all of these negative sounding items are related to this “harlot of Babylon, which clearly points to the mindset she projects toward the creation of God. It is important to understand that for this entire book of Revelation, which is “The Unveiling of the Anointed-One in you, has to do with what transpired within the soul, or mind, or thinking of mankind. It has become evident that who God created you to be from before the foundation of the universe, HAS NOT CHANGED.
● Matthew 11:13 (TPT) says, “For all the prophets and the Torah prophesied until John appeared.” What this means is that prior to Jesus manifesting as visible in the flesh realm, it was MANKIND who only declared the first five books of the Bible, which were Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The remainder of what we have in our hands today was not developed into book form at that time. So, around two thousand years, the firstborn Son of God declared that the prophets and the law were all that people had known. But the reason why is that mankind forgot his origin of creation when he looked into another direction other than the truth of the eternal law of Love.
● This was the same mistake that Adam and Eve made as the voice of question arose within them and it causes them to believe they needed to become something more than what the perfect law of Love had already made them. Yet God spoke to a certain age through the law and the prophets and gave a word to Israel to live by UNTIL John the Baptist came on the scene preaching repentance and the kingdom of God.
● Matthew 3:1-2 (NKJV) “1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” The word “repent” comes from the Greek word metanoeō {sounds like me–tän–ī’–ā–yō} means to change one’s mind or the way one thinks. In essence, John was telling the people that the way they had been thinking needed to change. It also means to think differently afterward or to reconsider what you have believed, by changing what you believe after you have heard the truth.
● And this seems to mean that the prophets and the law revealed God’s will for that age and were in effect until John showed up in the wilderness and began his ministry. But the Old Testament prophets who preached the law only represented God’s will for mankind, as they understood the mind of God in their level of revelation.
● Nothing has changed as far as how God feels about you, just as nothing changed about the Father’s view of Adam just because Adam forgot who he was. Now, in Revelation 18:22-24, we see a few things that seem to have come to an end. And for almost this entire series, we have been talking about the end of that element which has seemingly controlled the soulish-thinking of mankind.
● The fact is that true life emanates from the same mind that was in Christ Jesus, which was the mind of His Father. True happiness and peace can never be found in a dead system that preaches separation from God. It is only found is realizing that you are one with your Creator, and that which is created by the Creator can never be separated from Him.
● 1 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) says, “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” Keep in mind that the joining was never of your choosing which was designated or destined for some future date; because He joined you to Himself the very moment you were created, and you have never been separated from God. It is time to let go of a dead religious system, and embrace the knowledge of the Godhead in you, so that you can simply be who you were created to be, in Him.
● I hope you are enlightened and inspired as you “dig deep into the well of the Father’s mind within you,” as you watch today’s video lesson!
