Join me this afternoon (depending on where you live) for our next Text Reading, the only one we will do this time through the Bible, from the book of 2 Kings 6:15-17, according to the Hebrew (H) and Greek (G) texts:

(H) 6:15 Then the one serving the man of God began to rise up early in the morning in order to get up and to begin heading out but, behold! an army was sounding the town, with horse and chariot. Then his young attendant began to say to him, "This is terrible, my lord! How will we get out of this?"
(H) 6:16 Then he began to say, "You must not be afraid, because there are many more who are with us than are with them."
(H) 6:17 Then Elisha began to pray and he began to say, "Jaho(h)-ah, now open his eyes so he begins to see." Then Jaho(h)-ah began to open the young attendant's eyes and he began to see and, behold! the mountain had been filled with horses and fiery chariots all around Elisha.

(G) 6:15 Then the one serving Elisha rose up early in the morning, to get ready so he could head out but, behold! a powerful army was gathering around the city, even horse and chariot. So the young attendant said to him, "O, lord, what shall we do?"
(G) 6:16 Then Elisha said, "You must not be afraid, because many are those with us, more than those who are with them."
(G) 6:17 Then Elisha prayed and he said, "Lord [Jaho(h)-ah], open the eyes of this young attendant so he can see." Then Lord [Jaho(h)-ah] opened his eyes and he saw and, behold! the mountain completely full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
