Today's message is entitled, "Thanksgiving in the Middle of the Storm (Acts 16:11-40)."
Focusing on Acts 16:11-40, Pastor Daniel Winter retells the story of Paul and Silas after they healed a woman; they were beaten and thrown into prison. In their physical pain and captivity, Paul and Silas praised God by singing hymns. Then, God performs miracles. Paul and Silas's experience reminds Christians that followers of Jesus can expect to face storms. Suffering for Christ is granted by God. But giving thanks amidst the storm demonstrates the Holy Spirit's power.
