Join me at Noon today (California time) as we continue our series on where and how the Bible contradicts the Trinity. While we realize many have been raised believing in the Trinity, If the Trinity is not actually taught in the Bible, it should not be required belief for Christians. Indeed, if what is explicitly taught in the Bible contradicts the Trinity it is best to avoid using it when it comes to worshiping the biblical God.

The nineteenth text we will use to show the Trinity conflicts with the Bible is 1 Corinthians 8:6. In this text, we are told explicitly that the “one God” of Christians is “the Father,” not “the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” as taught by the Trinity. We are also told about a distinction between the “one God” and “Jesus “Christ” where it concerns creation. That distinction makes it clear the “the Father” is the source of all creation, and the “one Lord” (a description we will also show is not equivalent to “one God”) is the agent “through whom” the “one God, the Father,” not the Trinity, created “all things.”
