Join me at 1:00 PM today (California time) as we continue our series on where and how the Bible contradicts the Trinity. While we realize many have been raised believing in the Trinity, If the Trinity is not actually taught in the Bible, it should not be required belief for Christians. Indeed, if what is explicitly taught in the Bible contradicts the Trinity it is best to avoid using it when it comes to worshiping the biblical God.

The twentieth texts we will use to show the Trinity conflicts with the Bible are John 20:17 and John 20:28. The latter text is often one brought up by Trinitarians to prove Jesus is “God,” by which they mean a divine “Person” of the Trinity. But John 20:28 does not say Jesus is a divine “Person” of the Trinity. So how does John 20:28 support the Trinity? More to the point of this series, how does John 20:28 conflict with the Trinity? The use of the term “God” is the key to answering this question, not only in John 20:28 but also just a few verses earlier in John 20:17 and elsewhere in the Bible as we will discuss during the show.
