Join me later this evening as we continue our series on where and how the Bible contradicts the Trinity.
While we realize many have been raised believing in the Trinity, If the Trinity is not actually taught in the Bible then it should not be required belief. In fact, if what is explicitly taught contradicts the Trinity it is best to avoid using it when it comes to worshiping the biblical God.
The sixth text we will use to show the Trinity conflicts with the Bible is Hebrews 1:7-9, in which the author of Hebrews further proves the Son has “become better than the angels” (verse 4) after being seated at God’s right hand after his resurrection. In that state he receives God’s throne and kingly authority from one who described as his “God,” and because angels in the past were used as servants and God’s Son receives authority as King, this again shows how the Son has “become better than the angels.”
We will also deal with the least likely translation of the nominative hO THEOS as either a vocative, “O, God,” or a nominative, “God is….,” and the reasons why the latter translation should be preferred over the former.
Please join me to discuss these texts, if you can do so with genuine interest and respect:
