Yahweh has won a great victory against Sisera and the Canaanites. And now, the prophetess sing’s a new war hymn of God’s greatness and glory. In it, God mocks the demon-gods the Canaanites worship and His name is exalted greatly. In it, we see how God goes to battle, and we see that song itself is a means God uses for warfare.
