Dr. Jordan Rogers will continue his captivating walk through John with a sermon from John 2:13-17 entitled, "The Consuming Zeal of Christ".

John’s purpose in John 2:13-17 is to record the first occasion where Jesus drove out the moneychangers and merchants from the Temple with a whip of cords. This was a display of the perfect consuming zeal of Christ for the glory of the Father. In Christ we see the embodiment of perfect zeal for the glory of God, a zeal which we must pray and strive for.

The following is a sermon on John 2:13-17, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
