In Session #8, Brad examines how the Galatian believers kicked Paul out of their churches, choosing to keep instead those who taught that righteousness was gained through faith in Jesus plus obedience to the law of Moses.

The resistance to the gospel of grace, which is righteousness (complete forgiveness and total innocence) by grace through faith in Jesus apart from works, began immediately in the early church; unfortunately, this resistance continues today.

If you have experienced resistance as you have shared the good news of righteousness by faith apart from works, you will be encouraged in Session #8 to know you are not alone.

The resistance to grace started when the Pharisees and teachers of the law resisted the grace flowing from Jesus to the prostitutes and tax collectors, and continued through the resistance of the message of grace Paul taught as an ambassador of Jesus.

The good news today is that more and more people all over the world are learning the truths of Galatians and sharing these truths with their friends, in their small groups, and in their churches.

The message of grace is being received with gladness by some but rejected by others.

Either way, the good news of grace is being communicated and lives are being changed.

Ultimately, the gospel of grace cannot be suppressed.
