Sermon: “The Generosity of a Disciple”
"disciple what" Series
Scripture Reading: Ruth 2:1-23

We are never more like Jesus than when we learn to embrace GENEROSITY as a way of life.

Generosity begins by building BOUNDARY into our daily lives (Leviticus 19:9-10; 23:22; Deuteronomy 24:19-22).

Generosity goes above and beyond the MINIMUM requirements and expectations of God (Ruth 2:1-23).

A disciple of Jesus Christ must always err on the side of GENEROSITY.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously! … He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be rich in every way SO THAT YOU CAN BE GENEROUS ON EVERY OCCASION, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:6, 10-11).
