This is the 7th message in our series, "Exodus: Under the Empire," and it goes through parts of Exodus as well as parts of Romans.

In "The Hardest Heart" we’ll look at one of the difficult concepts to understand in the Bible - the hardening of Pharaoh's heart.

This message will look at:
-free will and responsibility for actions
-the wrath of God and what that looks like for us today
-how our choices reflect what we really believe

This message deals with some complex ideas in fairly simplistic ways, and I'd encourage you to read and learn more for yourself! My very quick take on Calvinism, for example, is pretty unfair to our sisters and brothers in Christ who belong to that school of theological thought. Apologies in advance!

This message is heavily inspired and sourced from Bruxy Cavey, who is the teaching pastor at The Meeting House church in Canada. I highly recommend checking out his book: "(re)union"
