Upon entering Jerusalem, Jesus recognizes that all is not well in their spiritual capital. Jesus figuratively curses a fig tree and then begins to cleanse the temple of its iniquity. Rather than receive his correction, the religious authorities challenge Jesus and are unwilling to acknowledge him and his ministry. While sometimes painful, it is always best for us to acknowledge our failings and turn from our sin.

1. The fig tree & the temple (vs. 12-19)
2. The beginning of the end (vs. 20-25)
3. The authority of Jesus (vs. 27-33)
