Dr. Jordan Rogers continues our walk through The Gospel of John with a sermon from John 3:1-7 entitled, "The Necessity of the New Birth."

John’s purpose in John 3:1-13 is to record Jesus’ teaching on the new birth, where He explains both the necessity and the mechanism of the new birth. The new birth is necessary to see and enter the kingdom of God, and though it is uninitiated by man, the results of it are perceivable by man. In vs.1-7, we see that without the new birth no one is able to see or enter the kingdom of God. To enter the kingdom of God, you must be born again by the sovereign work of the Holy Spirit.

The following is a sermon on John 3:1-7, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
