Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching on prayer in this sermon from Philippians 4:4-7 entitled, "The Peace that Surpasses Understanding."

A prayerless heart breeds an anxious mind.

Every person has experienced anxiety at some point in their life. God, in His Word, has taught us how to overcome anxiety. In Philippians 4:4-7, the Apostle Paul explains that in order to receive peace from God, we must have a persistent joy in Christ, a proper testimony before others, and a prayerful dependency on God. When we walk in this manner, we can be sure that God will be faithful to His promise that “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7)

The following is a sermon from Philippians 4:4-7 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
