The Scripture Twisters: Protestants and the unProtestant Protestants will twist scripture whenever you post a passage that contradicts one of their doctrines. It happens to me all the time. The last time it happened, the person made this claim: "Zell, Paul may have said that, but he didn't mean that." The guy did it with James and with Matthew in 8:9.

In this video, that person was trying to defend Sola Scirptura and he had to twist the clear and perspicuous meaning of the passage in Ephesians 3:10. This person had eventually changed his username and then when I told him I had taken screenshots of his comment, he finally deleted the comments.

This is a common tactic that Protestants will use when they are unexpectedly confronted with a passage that so REFUTES their doctrines, that they are speechless (with their keyboards) that they can't come up with anything other than "Zell, Jesus (or any of the Apostles) said that, but He didn't mean that. You are taking the passage out of context." It's always a LOL moment for me because what I usually do is make it abundantly clear what they are doing.

Psalm 11(12) is very interesting in that it states: "Save me, O God, for the godly man has disappeared, because truths are diminished among the sons of men.... The wicked prowl on every side." When the Scripture Twisters are confronted with a Truth, such as Eph 3:10, as well as 1 Tim 3:15, both of which directly refute Sola Scriptura, they must try to come up with a convincing argument that refutes those very words of Holy Spirit inspired scripture, which directly and unequivocally refute their 16th century, created doctrines. Thus the Psalmist goes on: "The words of the Lord are PURE words, smelted silver purges of dross purified seven times."

Their argument always comes down to something along these times:

"You take that passage out of context; Jesus (or the Apostles) may have said that, but He (they) didn't mean that." The purpose and result of Scripture Twisting is to deny the true, clear, concise and perspiscous words stated such that it will always agree with their doctrine despite the Holy Spirit inspired words given, such that James 2:24 becomes: "James may have said 'No, you are not justified by faith alone,' but he really meant, 'Yes, you are justified by faith alone.'"

If Church in Ephesians 3:10 refers to all the "Body of Believers" as some Protestants point out, that make known the wisdom of God, then even the Judaizers in Acts 15 would have pointed out to the Ecclesial Authority of the Church (i.e. the Apostles in Council) that they also make known the wisdom of God and how dare the Apostles go against their understanding of the wisdom of God. This of course does not happen because the Wisdom of God is made known through the Church which also has a hierarchy from Apostles right down to the laity (1 Cor 12:27-28). Not all of us are Apostles who were given the full authority of Christ to act and speak as if Christ Himself were acting and speaking.

The same goes for the authority to Bind and Loose. The Judaizers could have turned around and told the Apostles that they are unBinding themselves from the Apostles ruling in Acts 15. But this does not happen because the Apostles were the Ecclesial Authority in the Church according the scripture and the preaching that was brought to them by the Apostles.

The Purpose of The Protestant Scripture Twister Series:

2 Corinthians 4:2 RSV
We have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways; we refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:1-4 RSV
For you yourselves know, brethren, that our visit to you was not in vain; [2] but though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we had courage in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the face of great opposition. [3] For our appeal does not spring from error or uncleanness, nor is it made with guile; [4] but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please men, but to please God who tests our hearts.
