Description: When Jeroboam is made King of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, and splits the Kingdom inherited by Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, he also consciously breaks with God, by imposing his own idolatrous form of worship upon his people. To all intents and purpose a mere copy of the Temple worship in Jerusalem, but deeply displeasing to God Himself:

3. God Is Displeased by False Worship

4. God-Pleasing Worship
