The Sure Promises Of God

Christ is the resurrection and the life.
Often we can be thrown into a state of distress when we see that things are failing and may not succeed. We can despair at our seemingly wasted efforts and the impending disappointment that gives us an acute sense of loss and futility. But in those times when we are arrested by our losses and are mournfully licking our wounds at our shattered hopes and unmet desires and thwarted efforts, there is still the hope of resurrection and life.
To maintain faith even in the midst of disappointment and discouragement shows the true value of your faith. Faith that cannot see beyond disappointment is the faith that is unfit and inadequate for the journey of life and it’s a faith that says that God is not able to do all things.
Because our hopes, dreams, or calling did not at first work out IT DOES NOT MEAN that they cannot nor will not work out.
On the very ashes of our burnt hopes God is able to bring resurrection power and reconstruct success and raise us up from the grave of disappointment, despair and depression.
Our failures give us an opportunity to see the resurrection power of God, that we may know that there is no mountain, no pit, no chain that is higher, deeper or stronger than the love of God for us.
Failures help to make more firm our faith in God and deepens our resolve to serve him faithfully.
God is never fettered but OUR circumstances, it’s only our minds and WHAT WE BELIEVE TO BE POSSIBLE that limits the working of his power in our lives.
When we recognize that the limitations come from US and not our circumstances then we know that despite our apparent failures, We Will Rise And Go Forward Again In Greater Strength. For God Is The Resurrection And The Life and he is not intimidated by our mistakes, flaws and shortcomings, he can bring us up from the grave of defeat when we have lost the battle with our own minds, our own emotions and lift us up from the pit of self pity. It is not over ….. Every failure is a NEW beginning ……. ????????
