Dr. Jordan Rogers begins preaching verse-by-verse through The Book of Exodus in this sermon from Exodus 1:1-22 entitled, “Three Principles to Preserve God’s People.”

Moses’ purpose in Exodus 1:1-22 is to record the historical situation of the Israelites in coming into slavery in Egypt, facing increasingly severe and drastic oppression and persecution at the hands of the Egyptians. The Egyptian oppression of Israel escalates to a murderous, infanticidal plot in Exodus 1. The expectation and hope of Exodus 1 is that just as God continued to bless and multiply Israel in the midst of tremendous suffering, God would eventually work out a true deliverance of His People from bondage and affliction.

The following is a sermon on Exodus 1:1-22, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
