After generations of rebellion, God is asking the children of Israel to repent from their sins and turn back to Him in Zechariah 1:1-17. As we study Zechariah’s first vision for these people, we see what a rider in the myrtle trees means in light of their captivity, prophecy, and God’s love and mercy for His people.
