This verse is ALWAYS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT - WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST AND ARE NOT THE UNRIGHTEOUS. WE ARE JOIN HEIRS WITH CHRIST AND THIS VERSE IS NOT REFERRING TO THE SAINTS BUT THE UNJUST, UNBELIEVERS THAT THAT CHURCH WAS HAVING JUDGE THEIR LEGAL MATTERS. PAUL IS CORRECTING THEM IN THIS SAYING THAT SINCE THE SAINTS WILL JUDGE ANGELS ONE DAY WHY CAN'T THEY JUDGE THE SMALLEST MATTERS WITHIN THE CHURCH? WHY TAKE THEM BEFORE THE UNBELIEVERS, THE "UNRIGHTEOUS" BC THEY WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM, BUT YOU WILL! There is nothing but good news for believers in scripture.
