ମାଥିଉ 23 : 1-2 & 11-12 (ସାଦ୍ଦୂକୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସାତୋଟି ସନ୍ତାପ)
1 ସେହି ସମୟରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଓ ଆପଣା ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
2 ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ଆସନରେ ବସିଅଛନ୍ତି ।
11 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସେବକ ହେବ ।
12 ଆଉ ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ ବୋଲି ଦେଖାଏ, ତାହାକୁ ନତ କରାଯିବ, ପୁଣି, ଯେ କେହି ଆପଣକୁ ନତ କରେ ତାହାକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରାଯିବ ।

Matthew 23 : 1-2 & 11-12 (A Warning Against Hypocrisy)
1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:
2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.
12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
