Today I read Psalm 145:10-15 and I want you to tell me what verse jumps out to you. What jumps out to you is what verse you find yourself stuck on. I don’t mean stuck in a bad way. If you get stuck on a verse, you and God hang out there. I might have a point I want to share with you, but there might be something else that God wants to share with you.

When we read God’s Word, we meet with the creator of the universe. John 14-17 teaches a lot about the Holy Spirit. When you get stuck on a verse, that’s the Holy Spirit. Remember to read, think, and respond. Look at what God’s Word has to say.

Psalm 145:10-15 makes me think about the hummingbirds we feed at my house. I am reminded about the hummingbirds because they do something while they are eating from the feeder. They will land on the feeder and as they are eating they will stop and look up at the feeder. They are looking to the source that feeds them.

That is what our response should be when we are being fed. We get our spiritual food, as well as our real food, from God and He provides in the right season. The temptation is to look to ourselves for help. But we really need God for everything.

Right now it is an election year and politics are getting crazy. Sometimes we put our hope in politicians to save us from all of our problems. We can’t look to unsaved people to live godly lives.

The end goal is not about this world, it is about God’s everlasting kingdom. In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy. This world will not be this way forever. For those of us in the body of Christ, are we focused on the right kingdom?

What verse stood out to you from Psalm 145:10-15? I’d love to hear about it.

Thanks for watching!
