STUDY NOTES :

REVELATION CHAPTER 13:  The beast exercises power on the earth over ALL NATIONS.  The mark of the beast (666) is issued to the earth’s inhabitants.

Verses 1-10… The anti-Christ comes to power.
Daniel 7:1-8 …. Daniel 7:15-25 …. Daniel 11:36 ….
2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4; 9 ….  1st John 2:22
·       These passages describe the most perverted person who will ever walk the paths of this earth!
 
·       The anti-Christ will be an intellectual genius.
Daniel 8:23
·       The anti-Christ will be an oratorical genius giving great speeches.
Daniel 11:36
·       The anti-Christ will be a political genius… Revelation 17:11,12

·       The anti-Christ will be a commercial genius… Revelation 13:16-17
Daniel 11:43
·       The anti-Christ will be a military genius… Revelation 13:2

·       The anti-Christ will be a religious genius… Revelation 13:8 … 
2nd Thessalonians 2:4 
·       NOTE:  The goal of present day “religionists” is to have a one world religion for ALL …. sound familiar?

Verses 11-18… The False Prophet comes to rule with the devil and the anti-Christ making up the “UN-HOLY TRINITY”.
Revelation 16:13 …. Revelation 19:20 …. Revelation 20:10. 
NOTE:  Since it has been pointed out to John that the anti-Christ will mimic Christ’s activities (examples: oration, false worship, false resurrection, etc.), the “False Prophet” will attempt to copy the work of the Holy Spirit.  Note that in these seven verses, the False Prophet seduces men into error (the Holy Spirit leads men into truth). 
The False Prophet glorifies the anti-Christ (while the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ).  The False Prophet kills men (while the Holy Spirit gives life to men). The False Prophet marks those who worship satan (while the Holy Spirit seals all who believe in Christ).
The mark of the beast is mentioned by God in these verses:
Revelation 13:17-18… Revelation 14:9-11… Revelation 15:2
Revelation 16:2… Revelation 19:20… Revelation 20:4…
