STUDY NOTES :

REVELATION CHAPTER 19:  This chapter deals with the sixth Divine Judgment, in which the Lamb of God defeats satan and unrepentant sinners at the battle of Armageddon.
The location of the Battle of Armageddon:  The battlefield will stretch from Megiddo on the north (12.11" class="scriptRef">Zechariah 12:11) and (Revelation 16:16) to Edom on the south (Isaiah 34:5-6 …. Isaiah 63:1).  This is a distance of about two hundred miles.  It will reach from the Mediterranean Sea on the west to the hills of Moab on the east, which is a distance of about 100 miles!  This area will include the valley of Jehoshaphat. Joel 3:2, 12.  At the center of the entire area will be the city of Jerusalem …. Zechariah 14:1-2.
It is interesting that other Biblical battles have been fought in this same area.  For instance, David killed goliath in this area (1st Samuel Chapter 17). Deborah and Barak defeated the Canaanites here (Judges Chapters 4 & 5).  And Gideon defeated the Midianites here (Judges Chapter 7).
The Scripture points out in Revelation 14:19-20, that the blood of animals and men will form a lake two hundred miles long and bridle deep, as a result of the battle at Armageddon.  The stench of this rotting mass of flesh (hundreds of millions of men) and the blood will fill the entire region (Isaiah 34:1-3).  This rotting flesh will provide a feast for the carrion birds (Revelation 19:17).  The final step as a result of this war will be when the beast and the false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire forever (Revelation 19:20).  Praise God for Justice! (Verses 1-10 - These verses introduce the bride of Christ)
·       Verses 1-7… We believers praise the Lord for his true and righteous judgments, worshipping god with all our heart!
Isaiah 63:7-9…. Psalms 134…                             
·       Verses 8-9… The Bride of Christ is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white) This is a sign of blessing from God!
Revelation 7:9-10…
·       Verse 10… We receive an admonition that we are to WORSHIP GOD ONLY!
