STUDY NOTES :

REVELATION CHAPTER 20: This chapter describes the following three events:
·       The devil is bound for one thousand years, and is no longer able to visit men on earth and deceive them. 
·       The saints, we believers, will reign with Christ for 1,000 years on earth in the Millennial Kingdom!  This is called the first resurrection! 
·       The earth and its works shall be destroyed, and then will appear The GREAT WHITE THRONE which is followed by the judgment of ALL the UNSAVED DEAD.
*THE DEVIL IS BOUND FOR ONE THOUSAND YEARS!
Verse 1… The bottomless pit… Luke 8:26-31…. Revelation 9:1-2
Verse 2… The devil is bound for 1,000 years.
2nd Peter 2:4…. Jude verse 6
Verse 3… The devil is not allowed to deceive the nations for the 1,000 year reign of Christ.
Genesis 3:1…. 1st Peter 5:8…. Ephesians 6:11
*THE SAINTS REIGN WITH CHRIST FOR 1,000 YEARS!
Verse 4… The Apostle John sees thrones, and judgment was given to the saints of God.
Matthew 19:28…. Luke 22:28-30…. 1st Corinthians 6:2-3…. Revelation 2:25-27 
·       The saints of God live and reign…  2nd Timothy 2:11-12

Verses 5-6… This is the first resurrection where the second death has no power.
Revelation 21:8…. Revelation 5:10…. Isaiah 61:4-11….
Isaiah 62:1-5…. Isaiah 65:18-25
*THE DEVIL IS LOOSED FROM HIS PRISON AND SHALL DECEIVE THE NATIONS!
Verses 7-8… The great Deception.
2nd Thessalonians 2:9-11…. John 8:44
Verse 9… Fire comes down from God and devours the rebellious ones.
Hebrews 12:29…. Hebrews 10:31…. Genesis 6:3
